經費來源 Danmarks Dagsommerfugle is funded by Aage V. Jensen Naturfond (Grant number: N2023-0017) and 15. Juni Fonden (Grant number: 2023-0140).

取樣方法

Volunteers sample locations for a period of 15 minutes, where the observer counts a predetermined species of butterfly in an imaginary 5x5x5m box. There is no fixed pace and observers may be stationary during the period.

研究範圍 Denmark. 1st April - 31st September.
品質控管 Phenological and geographical ranges were defined for each species and used to filter the dataset for observations falling outside of these ranges. The plausibility of these filtered observations was then evaluated individually. Observers were inquired for additional documentation in form of description or photos when needed. Emphasis was both put on the quality of the documentation and observer experience. Records deemed implausible and insufficiently documented were then discarded.
